"The Color That Lies Between Us," follows four couples on a rollercoaster journey through life, love and complex issues that threaten to tear them apart. (Monday, July 14th, 7:30 pm)
“Life To Come” is the story of Austin and Savannah, an interracial married couple, who after only a few short years, have found themselves going in opposite directions. Savannah is a successful attorney on the rise, who is too career-driven to focus on her marriage. While Savannah loves her career, Austin finds himself unsatisfied with sitting behind a desk and longs for a career in music. He’s also ready to start a family, which is the furthest thing from his wife’s mind. While fighting to rekindle the love the two once shared, Austin discovers an ugly secret about his wife, and Savannah has a very traumatic life experience. The couple finds themselves strangers living in the same house with a marriage on the brink of destruction. (Tuesday, July 15th, 7:30 pm)
"Un-Sheltered': The women in a domestic violence shelter, known affectionately as Nellie B's, flee abusive relationships, only to find themselves still living in an often challenging environment. The women struggle to get along, find self-worth and reconcile issues of their past, when an unlikely chain of events force them to bond and find strength in each other. Their personalities will make you laugh but their stories will break your heart. (Wednesday, July 16th, 7:30 pm)
"House of Harts" depicts the life of the Harts, an average all-American family. The Hart family is made up of adult siblings Janet and Jamison, Jr. (affectionately nicknamed Strawberry and June, respectively); Jamison Sr., and Leslie, a new addition to the family after having married Jamison, Sr. less than a year prior. Though there are tensions that exist and obstacles to overcome, life inside the Hart household is fairly typical, that is, until Lamont, an overachieving intern at Jamison, Sr.'s marketing firm, temporarily moves in. Lamont ignites a chain of events that threaten to break family bonds and change the family forever. (Thursday, July 17th, 7:30 pm)
“Never Been Home” depicts the life of a prominent upper middle class black family, whose members gather for the funeral of the family patriarch, John Anderson, Sr., a respected politician and businessman. Over the course of two days, tension mounts and secrets are revealed that change the family forever. (Friday, July 18th, 7:30 pm)
"Beyond Loose Ties": Luke, a young man from the inner-city, is released from prison and forced to live with his estranged father in a middle class neighborhood. As he attempts to re-enter society, Luke is haunted by his past and struggles to mend his relationship with his father, after 20 year separation. (Saturday, July 19th, 7:30 pm)
"In The Pastor's Shadow": Sister Jada Jones, a loyal and supportive wife of a highly successful mega-church pastor, has dedicated her life to her God, her husband, family, church and community. She pushes her own dreams to the side, only to find herself overshadowed by her husband's success and indiscretions. In the midst of the storm, Sister Jones struggles to find balance, forgiveness and redemption. (Sunday, July 20th, 3 pm)
